Cagrilintide 5 mg + Semaglutide 5 mg

The cagrilintide and semaglutide blend is intended for projects exploring appetite regulation, satiety, glucose balance and metabolic control. The two peptide analogues represent different, complementary research directions in food-intake and metabolism studies.

The vial contains 5 mg of cagrilintide and 5 mg of semaglutide, 10 mg in total at a fixed 1:1 ratio. A shared lyophilised cake allows both components to be prepared together. This is strictly a research material, not a medicinal product, and it cannot replace a medicine.

Vial composition: cagrilintide at 5 mg, long-acting amylin analogue, purity not less than 98% by HPLC; semaglutide at 5 mg, GLP-1 analogue, purity not less than 98% by HPLC. Total lyophilisate mass: 10 mg at a 1:1 component ratio.

Form: a shared cake in a type I glass vial with a chlorobutyl rubber stopper and an aluminium seal. Appearance: white to off-white cake. A certificate of analysis is issued for each component separately and covers HPLC and mass spectrometry. Solvent is not included.

Unopened vials are stored at -20 °C, protected from light and moisture, and brought to room temperature before opening. Solvent volume is chosen against the total mass of 10 mg; at a 1:1 ratio the two analogues reach equal concentrations in the finished solution.

Bacteriostatic or sterile water is added slowly down the wall of the vial, which is then swirled until the cake dissolves. Acylated peptide analogues are particularly prone to foaming and aggregation under vigorous mixing, so the vial must never be shaken. The solution is kept at 2-8 °C, protected from light, is not refrozen after reconstitution, and its usable life is established by the laboratory own stability protocol; cloudiness or visible particles disqualify the material.
